Soon-young learns Dong-kyun’s birthday is coming up and asks Jun-hee not to hang out with Dong-kyun, but Jun-hee ignores her. On Dong-kyun’s birthday, Soon-young catches Jun-hee and Dong-kyun hanging out together.

One day, Hwa Young (Lee Seong Yeon, 3-iron) receives a mysterious parcel labeled "So Hwa 20 Years". In it, she finds an official death notice and some personal belongings of a Japanese soldier. A photo displaying the deceased soldier and a woman catches her attention. The woman on the photo looks just like her! On June 26, 2020, NJPW announced the Summer Struggle tour and that the culmination of the Summer Struggle tour would take place in Meiji Jingu Stadium, the first NJPW event inside the stadium since 1999 with last event being Jingu Climax.
